What are Rows and Columns in Microsoft Excel?

In MS-Excel Row numbers ranges from 1 to 1048576; in total 1048576 rows and Columns range from A to XFD; in total 16384 columns.

A column is a vertical series of cells in the sheet. Above letters A, B, C, D, to XFD are the column of Microsoft Excel in a spreadsheet. As you can see in the below image. 

The Row is a horizontal series of cells in a spreadsheet. The row is placed to the left side of the column containing the numbers (1, 2, 3, …).
